A Life Dedicated to Spirit

Hello, I'm Donna Minette King, a spiritual psychic medium, trance artist, healer and teacher, living and working in Norfolk.

My life has been guided by Spirit since I was a child. Spirit has always been a quiet, constant presence walking alongside me, and has never felt separate from my everyday life. It has shaped how I see the world, how I listen, and how I hold space for others.

My work as a medium comes from this lived relationship, one built on trust, responsibility, and deep love and respect for my unseen friends and spirit team.

A Lifelong Conversation

For as long as I can remember, I've been in a natural, ongoing conversation with my guides. It was never something I learned or searched for. It simply was.

My guides have changed over time, each arriving when needed. One in particular always felt especially close. Whenever I questioned something, they would gently talk me through it, not always with answers, but by encouraging me to ask better, deeper questions.

I was about six when I saw a man sitting on the ground at Christmas, asking for money. Spirit prompted me to ask a question that stayed with me for life: "Who makes the money?" I gave him the 50p I'd just been given, and from that moment, compassion for those less fortunate became part of who I am. It wasn't taught. It was lived, and it still sits at the heart of my work today.

Art, Stillness & Trance

As a child, I would sit quietly in my toy cupboard, staring at a large Van Gogh print of a chair. I told Spirit it was boring, yet I was always guided to keep looking and to feel into it, until I drifted into a deeply meditative state.

Only now do I understand that this was preparation. Art was always part of my path, and Spirit was shaping what would later become my trance art long before I had words for it.

Today, Spirit works through me in an almost abstract way, with my main art guide being Piet Mondrian. Each piece carries its own healing energy and meaning.

Learning to Stand in My Own Energy

For most of my life, I was in constant communication with my guides. They were my friends, and when they went quiet, I would panic.

At 38, they told me something that changed everything: I would need to learn to live without them being constantly present. That transition took over four years, and it still stirs emotion in me. But I understand why it was necessary. It grounded me, gave me independence, and taught me to stand fully in my own energy as a medium.

That balance, between listening to Spirit and trusting myself, now shapes everything I do.

My Working Relationship with Spirit

My mediumship didn't arrive suddenly as a gift. It unfolded through years of experience, surrender, and learning how to listen.

Spirit has taught me patience, humility and the importance of staying grounded. I learned in my early teenage years that this work is not about performance or personality, but about service: stepping out of the way and allowing love, truth and healing to come through in the way Spirit intends.

I've always been curious, and I still am. When Spirit offers information, I gently explore what sits beneath the surface, which often brings greater clarity and truth. That same curiosity feeds my seership and prophetic awareness, abilities that have always been with me. What I had to learn was how to trust them without fear or doubt.

My relationship with my spirit team continues to grow and change, just as we do.

How I Work

I believe in creating a safe, respectful space where spirit communication can unfold naturally, without pressure, expectation or force, always trusting that Spirit knows what we need better than we do.

Every sitting and every interaction is approached with care and responsibility. I work closely with Spirit, trusting what is given and delivering it with compassion and clarity, always honouring the sacred nature of this work.

Grounded in Norfolk

Norfolk's stillness, landscape and natural rhythm deeply support my work, keeping me grounded while remaining open to both Earth and Spirit.

It's here that everything prepared in childhood has come into form: through mediumship, spiritual guidance, trance art, healing and teaching.

What may sound magical to some has always felt normal to me. I hear Spirit, and I don't question it, but I've learned when to listen, when to wait, and when to trust myself.
